Hello All,

I received a phishing email today, as shown in the screenshot.

The phishing email claims they are officially connected to Shadow, but the email does not come from any Shadow's official email addresses, so it must be deceptive.

However, the phishing email accurately uses my first name (the part I masked off), as well as using the email address I used to sign up for Shadow. I'm concerned that Shadow has suffered some level of data breach (at least containing the user's first name and email address) that would allow a scammer to use and spoof such an email?

Ah there was an announcement on FR Discord about this.

I mean it was just

"A phishing email from Blockchain is currently circulating, claiming to come from us.

Do not click on the email, links or provide any personal information."

Discussing where to post it.. Being that we're not Shadow staff 😄

I got a reply from someone at Shadow, they are working on taking down the domains associated with the scam.
