Massive frame drops with Advanced Tier | Shadow (ENG) | Page 1

I'm not sure why, but just now I've been experiencing some insane frame drops. When I start Minecraft Java, it becomes completely unplayable since the frames drop to 3-7 fps for no reason. sometime it'll jump back up to ~225 fps but then it'll drop again. as of right now i'm just on the desktop, and im getting 30-40 fps which is why u see the graph going nuts and then staying stable despite the massive drop in frames.

btw the game states that it's running at 229 fps, so its definitely not the computer thats for sure.

ok so i did some further testing and it seems like running the stream at 229 fps destroys the frame rate for whatever reason despite the stream saying that its running at 229 fps. should i report this as a bug or nah since it might be on my end of things?

Woah, that's a lot of frames. You should limit your frame rate. It's possible your stream is not able to handle this number of frames without eventually bottlenecking and collapsing. Maybe if you enable H.265 you can get more frames out of the stream, but I suggest starting with a cap of 60 frames and see if the stream is rendering a more stable number.

i already tried doing H.265, and for some reason the window will stop responding

but i figured out that 144 fps seems to be the best
