Some sessions the harddrive in Shadow is incredibly slow and gives me long loading times in games. Others (most) times it isn't. Why is this? Do they switch between active HDDs?

No, it happens now and again. I'd say 1 out of 15 sessions I run. It's not a huge issue, just noticeable. I'm on Shadow Power.
