Manually changing the display settings in the quick menu ushers the user into a loading screen reflecting the changes made and results in no changes. For example, the user enters the quick menu, because "Always match Shadow resolution with local display" is off, the user has the ability to manually configure their resolution and FPS. When I attempt to do this, it seems to be working, but then results in no change, defaulting to its existing configuration. I'm not sure if its something I'm doing wrong. Also, I have unity installed, I'm trying to work on a beginner hello world level project involving a cube while simultaneously browsing the web with many tabs open and things are crashing, performance is crazy terrible, things appear to be open but won't respond. I'm on one of the lower tiers, but I feel like this is really expensive to be performing like this, personally. 😭 My attempts to lower the frame rate and resolution are in actuality to address this level of performance.
