Okay, have you tried after it gets you back to the menu screen select “2D Desktop View” and see if any popup popped?

Try pressing first “Start Shadow VR” and wait 2-5 minutes, if it doesn’t launch Steam VR then click on the back button, that will make your return to the menu, then click “Start 2D Desktop”, it’s a button with square and a 2D text inside, that will show you your Shadow with a keyboard, then check if Steam VR is started, if not, start it manually and after you started ir click on the up left button to go to VR mode

I fixed it just had to unmute my mic on the quick settings on quest

Have you checked if your microphone is disabled in the Quest Quick Settings or in Shadow App Settings?

A temporary solution would be setting up a VPN called ZeroTier in any device you have with a microphone and in your Shadow machine.

and then installing WO Mic Client also in both, your Shadow Machine and the device you previously installed ZeroTier.
