The ghost now forces an install of BOXES version of shadow on login. I can't seem to run VR virtual desktop from the ghost now - it just goes to a crawl or freezes. Oddly it's fine if I run shadow on the phone instead. Related to the BOXES version ? #ghost #virtualdesktop

Shadow Box/Ghost will not receive support soon, so they had to change it to another version than will only receive bug/security fixes…
So if in the phone works, use the phone

Phone is a workaround, but it takes a minute or so to restart shadow on phone after being on ghost (it reinstalls some stuff every time you change).

Ok, looks like raspberry pi is my new route to a small & silent shadow client for desktop

The Pi is way less powerful than the Ghost.
