Hello, I've turned the quick menu icon off as it was getting in the way but now I can't open it. I'm pressing Windows key+Alt+O and nothing happens

if you turn it off from shadow launcher, it's fully deactivated

you need to enable it back from shadow launcher, then you can use proper option to hide it from quickmenu itself

It is turned on, on the launcher. I'm pretty sure i only chose the option to hide it. The quick menu is still enabled and still won't wwork

Quick menu is enabled. the icon does not show. I've just noticed the shortcut keys work only on my laptop keyboard, not my external one

Your external keyboard might have a key to lock the windows key, usually known as a gaming mode.
