The reason why Shadow PC shuts it down is because it didn't detect that you are using a launcher that shuts down after 30 minutes

I knew that was it, but I wanted to play through steam link, the shadow screen buttons are horrible

Use a gamepad overlay that isn't shadows
Or potentially try to find a cheap bt gamepad. I use an 8bitdo one cause it fits in my pocket and has all the buttons and joysticks.

You can have one device with Shadow launcher opened at low resolution and then connect with your mobile phone using Steam Link
So the machine will not shutdown

using a clip and an xbox controller is not an option for your usage ?

In my specific case I don't have a gamepad, and the shadow mobile screen controls are small and very uncomfortable and almost impossible to play well with them
If it had the option to edit the size and position of the controls it would be perfect for me
