Power will get windows 11 later in the year.
oh alright! thanks
From what I tested, it is compatible with Windows 11. All it's missing are "Secure Boot" & "TPM 2.0". Supposedly, both of these could be activated in the UEFI Firmware Settings. The issue there is I haven't been able to connect to my Shadow when trying to go into the Advanced Startup to access it.
Do correct me if I'm mistaken with any of this
You’re in the wrong ballpark
Since this is a hypervisor based VM platform, you would have to generate a vTPM per user and attach that before the hypervisor boots the system. Then you could enable secure boot based on that vTPM. Or Shadow could bypass TPM checks entirely.
Also don’t mess with boot options on Shadow. If you set the flag to boot into safe mode, you can’t get out of safe mode. Then you have to reset your Shadow.
There are ways to bypass the check which shadow already has implemented in registry, but its yet to be added. Its the official microsoft solution but requires a usb/iso to work, which only shadow can do
It's not impossible though, vTPM is already supported by Cloud Platforms. Even Microsoft Azure supports vTPM. I'm not 100% sure it's supported on Google Cloud, but it wouldn't be too hard
