Stuck on starting shadow today.

Go to (?) issue a shutdown, when changes to Shadow is off, close the app for at least a few mins and try again.

Thanks but done this several times.

I'm now logged into another shadow acc i use for laptop and works fine so must be issue with that virtual machine

So it changed to Shadow is off? and didn't just auto connect? That is usually enough to unstick it .. I guess might need to leave off for longer, try 15 mins

Weird.. Leave it on starting up. Open ticket with support, who knows might magically connect while waiting

nothing has changed on my machine

like i said earlier i can login to another shadow account i have on this pc so it's definitely an issue with this virtual machine.

How hard is it to get some support from team to look into this?

You get auto reply with ticket ID then response, which can be up to 48hr currently

Ok I'm getting the same issue, but shadow freezes on startup and not letting me get into windows. It's stuck there and I have reset it multiple times...

I'm also having the same issue but I can't even log into my account to reset it.

Yep I get issues logging in on panel now. I get there is lots of migration issues but if we are merging big updates on our software I make sure there is actual support staff around the clock during these times.

This is just not acceptable.

And after trying to reset my email, I just haven't gotten any emails so I can't reset my password or my shadow. Yet my Wife can log into it on the website but I still don't get an email to reset my password.

after shadow is off and you try to start it again, whats the most time youve waited while stuck?

I used to have a similar issue a while back. The bar would load and the status would show starting shadow but then a few seconds later it would go back to start now. I found that after clicking start now then waiting for the bar to fail, and doing that over and over back to back it would eventually load. Took nearly 10 tries. It seems your bar loads and never relinquish the start now button. If you were to close the launcher after waiting a few seconds, would it allow you to click start shadow again, or at least begin the whole starting shadow process again. If so, then I would start now then wait a bit, close the launcher and continue this a few times to see if eventually a connection is made.

100% issue server side not client.

Tried another pc same issue, change shadow acc loads fine. Tested alpha loader, same issue.

Well response times are up to 48hr.. You opened the ticket on Saturday, I'd wait till the end of the day 🤷‍♂️

Yes, I should've mentioned my issue was also server side. But this is what worked for me, until it was resolved a few days later.
