You aren’t able to because they are all SSDs. This can be seen in software like speccy, which shows their name label is SSD. Only difference with secondary drive is its offsite causing occasional lag.
Main drive is an ssd, secondary storage is ssd offsite
Well then why don't shadow have them show as SSDs why emulate the storage as HDDs?
Honestly I don’t know, I don’t work with them
But they also don’t send the cpu clock rates to windows either which causes them to only show 2.5 ghz even though with speccy you can see the proper clock rate
Which causes issues in games like fortnite and gtav, where they limit themselves due to the lower reported clock rate
This isn’t an issue when using the older cpus though
Yeah I see sometimes my task manager reports 2.50 GHZ to 2.30 GHZ depending on when I start the machine. It seems like that's a manual thing they're blocking because on normal virtualization the clock rate is always presented to the VM and so is the proper drive type
(The proper clock rate is 3.0 ghz on average)
Why don't they just properly pass it to the VM?
There's no need for them to hide the proper basic information from the operating system to have it function properly
