You would have to ask the administrator of the server to whitelist Shadow, IP address ranges
You also cannot use a VPN on shadow unless it is a split tunnel
Yh I asked him but he said he can't because it's a public ip and every vpn I've tried just crashes shadow
So I guess I'm just screwed
Well
The other part I could recommend you but no guarantees
It’s to try a VPN with split-tunnelling or something
Like where it specifically only adds the VPN to the specific application, then again no guarantees that it won’t crash your Shadow or even work with the game.
Wait. What.
You’re asking about how to use a VPN on shadow because you’re being kicked from server for shadow being flagged as a VPN. Please do tell me how you won’t just end up in the same situation?!?
Yeah. That’s why, I said no guarantees, haha
Even if they aren’t flagged now, they would be in the future and I’m sure split tunnel does crash Shadow
Since it creates another adapter and still will crash the whole stream anyways
It was the fact the question confused me and makes no sense lol.
Some VPN’s could probably bypass the restriction but eh doubtful
xD
But I understand you Pip
Yeah some people like use there own Ips as vpns but the only program I can find that use that method just crash
my guess is that shadow IP ranges are banned and marked as reason 'VPN' but could actually just be abuse. If you use a real VPN it might already be abused before though. Some VPN providers have the option for an unique IP with good reputation so I do hope Shadow will come with an easy solution to use such. I will research how to do it manually and write an article though, but it may take some time
Yeah, Shadow Streamer needs to have Shadow IP allocated to work, for example, if you were to have a VPN on with a TeamViewer the Shadow would be on yet, the main thing is the streamer crashing since you’re not supposed to use the VPN
I believe for example Shadow from the UK they have some IP’s from London although the VM’s are in France so that might be even easily recognised as a VPN or even the ISP.
They have surely a way to block that, unfortunately
So yeah, nothing would help you for sure
Yeah I guess I'm stuck playing it in on a 1030 i5 4570 lol
Ahahah, that’s unfortunate.
It's rough lol
I completely understand that.
Only cost me 100 tho
