• Extract the zip file, you will find three folders: Interface, WTF, Fonts
• go to path: WTF -> Accounts

• Then you copy my WTF, Fonts and Interface folder into your wow directory. Replace all files.
• If you start the game, load all addons and skip eltruism installer.
• Only load character and chat cvars from elv_ui installer
• then load CaithUI profiles from Details, Plater, Masque and Gladdy manually:

• /gladdy config (only cata)

I'm not sure if you're still using them or if it's a relic from previous experimentation, but you have custom textures inside the WeakAura media folder. So, if you update your addon, they will be erased.

i tried out your profile and here are a few tips from me.

• put all your media files into your sharedmedia folder, also the portraits textures, else you will loose them if you update mmt.
• rename your sharedmedia folder to something like caiths_media or so.
• anchor your weakauras to the elvui frames, example your actionbar textures.
• your portraits textures are wrong, you are using the same for all, split the shadows of the textures. i add a non perfect example.
• ~~no need to add the sharedmedia lib into the addon folder if you have elvui enabled, because the lib is included in elvui also in most of the other addons like wekauras.~~ignore this you have two custome media filders, put all your media files into one and see to point 😛

you can also only share your elvui profile strings, also export and share only your wekauras. add a requierd addon list, your media addon and the useres needs only to import the strings and its fine.

same for details, omnicd and so on...

1)you need to add nmediatag in required addons

2)you need to remap your weakauras to correct path as it now looks your sharedmedia folder (e.g. Interface\AddOns\SharedMedia_MyMedia\background\Caith31.png to Interface\AddOns\CaithUI\Media\background\Caith31.png) PS: This can we done very fast through weakaura file in wtf folder 😄

3)you are using an older version of sharedmedia, therefore the texture you are using have changed (you can see image 1 below how my fresh install looks)

4)you are using omnicc and there are no profiles for it during installation therefore there are no CD timers (elvui has built-in such functionality you can possibly switch to)

5)your plater profile is looking for some files in the following path that you can potentially change it to your CaithUI folder and include it there
(local icon = Plater:CreateImage (classIcon, [[Interface\TargetingFrame\UI-Classes-Circles]], 30, 30))

Suggestion 1: Gray out buttons of addons you have not installed

You can do it very simple in init.lua file

e.g. for details (you can see image 2 below how it looks, its similar for rest addons)

Suggestion 2: MoveAnything is unmaintained addon (e.g. on Retail when you log in it throws 1-2 errors) and a lot of people will report issues with it 😄 , I see you only change position + resize character frame with it. Suggestion is to replace same functionality with a more modern addon like Blizzmove (tip: you can click control+mousewheel to resize and there is an option to also save position)

Suggestion 3: Some addons are not available in all versions of wow ( e.g. Gladdy, instead of Gladdy there is GladiusEx in retail // or TacoTip)

e.g. for Gladdy you can simple do that in init.lua

If you are too lazy to write the path for every file in sharemedia, you can just use this .bat file, and it will automatically populate everything from your folder. Just put this file in SharedMedia_MyMedia folder.

For all those who have problems with the portraits in the new version of mMT. Due to a change in the textures and paths, the correct mask textures are no longer loaded. This means that you no longer see a portrait. To fix this, you must specify the new texture paths.

HowTo:

• ElvUI > mMediaTag > Unitframes > Portraits > Textures & Style --- scroll down to custom textures.
• replace the old Mask (pink mark) Path with these her Interface\Addons\ElvUI_mMediaTag\media\portraits\old\circle\old_circle_mask.tga
• do this also for mirrored Mask (pink mark) , due to an error in mMT both textures are needed.

Yes this is one of the problems, it’s only a mask which hides a pice on the top and bottom of the minimap texture and you can’t move the minimap outside of the display.
