#Can I print the exhaust cover and filament holder in PLA/PLA+?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
are you set on using the exhaust? many of us don't, for the reason of improving chamber temperatures for ABS/ASA printing
that's good to know! I can always leave the doors open when printing lower temp stuff like PLA. I guess you just leave the grid in that spot and call it a day?
you want to keep the temperature in the chamber for abs/asa printing, so an exhaust cover might be a good idea
thank you, I might be able to fit that on my resin printer to get it up and running and then replace it with the roper ABS part once I get mine up and running
@ocean birch sounds like this is the last part of your printer, right
cause we can get you printed it abs
i think i had one for a while outta petg
pretty close, I'm working on installing firmware now then need to connect the CANBUS and tune it
I think they’re saying they’ve got the plate already
it will work temporarily
yw
I have the nozzle piece that threads into it for filament but no holder (I can resin print that though for now). Also need to setup sensorless homing on XY, but I'm close to done 😄 (So excited)
Why do sensorless homing out of curiosity?
because, why not?
either my ex wife or my cats have done something with them and can't find them lol. I have tap for Z
I think she also threw away some of the screws I had
many a trip to the hardware store
and then a trip to the vet to get the cats x-rayed 😆
pretty sure it was the ex, she hated my hobbies and interests (one of the reasons this kit sat around unbuilt for 4 years)
but my youngest cat has also shown great interest in "helping"
cats do like printers, we see a lot of them here
My other 2 don't care, but this is Willow, my 9 mo mainecoon, she loves it LOL
Thank you all for the answers, I'll get some temp stuff thrown on my resin printer for now if it fits and replace once I'm up and printing
