Jabberwocky Standalone Extruder (JWSE)

Jabberwocky Standalone Extruder (JWSE) is ready for testing.
This is the same extruder motor found in the Jabberwocky Toolhead, but it is an independent unit that can be used on Dragon Burner, Anthead, and any other toolhead designs that use the same bolt pattern found with the G2 Wristwatch/Orbiter. This will be compatible with Leafcutter or Crossbow cutters.

Hey! This looks like an interesting extruder, would be interesting to hear more about it!

We'd prefer to keep the discussion, files and testing available here in each mixtape, rather than pointing people to another Discord to partake.

The messages and discussions can continue here but the link to the files will be kept to a closed discussion until release.

The main thing about this version is just separating the LDO Jabberwocky Toolhead into an Extruder only to be used by any DIY projects.

For the test this is assuming you already have the LDO Jabberwocky toolhead kit and hopefully more than one.

There maybe some screws that need to be replaced, but I'm trying very hard to keep it to the original BOM.

The other goal is to ensure that it works with most of the other additional things that mount to the Extruder.

This will always be an unofficial Jabberwocky kit, but allows for DIY people to use the extruder for other toolheads. The Jabberwocky Basic kit is what a person would purchase to build the JWSE.

Without the cutter and the LDO fans, what is the main advantage of this extruder over others?

• Higher filament contact with the larger hob gears vs BMG
• Dual filament drive
• Native dual sensor support
• Adjustable guidler with anti-squish adjustment for flexible filaments
• better gear reduction ratio that matches or exceeds planetary gearing torque
• Integrated drive gear, like IDGA and RIDGA that prevents eccentric movements
• part of the Jabberwocky eco system that will be compatible with present and future mods and accessories.

Keeping the files restricted and directing people to another Discord doesn't really align with the goal of this channel and what we're trying to create here.

Mixtapes should include files and keep discussing and testing within the thread. Otherwise it becomes hard to follow and goes against the idea of it being an open community driven space.

If it's here then let's keep it here. Otherwise i fear this is not the right space for it.
