#Disco Skirt PCB CAD files
27 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi, would you mind posting a bit more about it?
Some more text, some pictures...
License
What is this? It was pulled off a public github and just had the file converted to a different format. I thought stl was supposed to show a thumbnail also?
Well is this your STL? If it's from someone else's Gighub, do what's needed to meet their original license. Did you modify that part in any way? If yes, can you state what changes you made? Can you post a picture of this part printed? You did not even link to the original file.
Posting just "I converted someone else's STL to step file" is not exactly purpose of this channel. Posting it in #voronuser_mods may be more suitable for this type. Thich channel is for posting your own mods and projects.

Its not a part to print... its a cad of a pcb board... it was not an stl ever. it was in a strange format of kicad and I just did the conversion process
people told me to do this and then told me to post here
Is this your PCB?
above
They do not state any licenses in their limited readme available
@brittle belfry can you export the CAD of your board and post on github? Or use this one here.
Just needed it for part fitment confirmation and it was not available, not trying to make any trouble
It's most probably public domain then or someghing of that kind. Unless @brittle belfry specifies
I can take a picture of one, but I would have to uninstall, there are no official pictures listed either
Not big deal, just trying to understand what's going on.
Just trying to figure out what you mean with some things, very new to posting
Does this work? Theyre kinda a pita to get out of their mounts
Yeah, if you can, also edit the first post to explain what it is.
Something more than "here are the files" 😅
Probably an oversight. I heard that the guy who made these was pretty scatterbrained.
Who me? It probably would be a good contest between them and I. Things are slowly starting to get better after surgeries though.
Seriously, though, I appreciate the follow up work on this. I’ll drop the files in the GitHub later today.
