i just changed my tmc driver from tmc5160 plus to 2209

i checked both my wiring and my board (mks monster8 v2) and have swapped both tmc2209 but still getting this issue
and i made sure that the wiring is identical to the tmc5160 (b1 a1 a2 b2)

maybe it's a simple fix or i did something stupid but i'm lost right now, i can't see it or figure it out

few possible causes.

bad stepper driver being one.

if you swap the 5160 into another slot, does the error move to that slot?

you mean tmc2209? i swapped between multiple drivers and still same error

and made sure to swap with one of the z drivers that i know it works

i also removed the jumpers that was initially there for tmc5160

yeah i swaped the motors and still same error on x

it was working fine before but i get sick and tired of the noisy 5160 so i changed them back to 2209

so if moving the stepper driver stick doesn't move the error, and moving the motors around doesn't move the error, logically the problem could be with the actual mainboard itself

let me have another look at your klippy log

maybe it's my wiring issue? before i crimped the jst i checked the pinout on tmc5160 to see which is the b1 b2 a1 a2 then checked the pinout for the board and matched them

i wouldn't expect the errorshutdown error from a miswired motor tbh, i'd expect shorttosupply or similar
