What is a PIF kit without any kit anyways???

Won PIF kit in Holiday Hangover, printed by @stray meteor, so I simply had to get that Trident kit i wanted for a long time.

So here the Journey starts!

Kits and extras came from MyRigs3d / Frig

LDO Trident 300 cube Space Grey kit Rev. D
Dark rock 305 buildplate
Vitalii CNC Tap kit
Trident skirt LEDs

Following up with LDO Clicky Clack door from OneTwo3d
Smoked panels (why not!)

Printed parts are LDO industry blue and Dark Teal 🙌🏻

Been using some time today getting print quality issues away on the V0, so i could print some Tap parts.

And assembled the SB!

So minor pause happened, seems there is missing some race way in the kit (states 4 in bom, only 3 in kit) so as we are waiting on answer from LDO i’ve just ordered some locally in a dimension close to the ones from the kit.

Also, XY joints on V0 is toast apparently 🤣
Luckily Driftrotor got me sorted with some test parts! Hope the current one hold up until new ones are printed

Okay, no matter how much i run the gantry back and forth, left is always getting racked, despite tightening the bolts in the XY joint thunk
What am i doing wrong??

If it was racked, then the right side would be loose at the front.

front idlers and motor mounts are straight up against the frame 🤷🏻‍♂️

If i get the left idler touch together with right, when bolts are loose, left won’t touch when it’s in max at the front

Guess apart from a bit wiring clean up and adding wire for fans under bed(they are on their way) and get the toolhead/tap wired up, it’s software time? thunk

Bed fans holders, splitter, chamber thermistors, handles (yes it’s getting heavier) sorted..
Debating if i should just use the included 60mm fans for bed fans, or wait for those that Andy will have with him to SMRRF.. thunk

Are those clips not interfering with the wires in the extrusion or are they all routed outside the extrusion?

Yeah i know it’s just to get the idea of how to route it 😄 still haven’t decided!

They are not interfering, as i ran the wires for stepper motor on the other side of the extrusion so i could get one of the thermistors placed higher up

My T300 has its sensor attached to the toolhead and I think that is one of the better places in a Trident as you really don’t care about the air temperature below the bed.

#1317678719485083748 has one temporarily run up the Z chain and tucked next to the Z1 rail block as I don’t have a spare port on the toolhead and needed something to reference the beans against.
