#Setting up ebb36 v1.2

The basic sample config from github should at least let you heat the hotend...
You're sure you got the one for the v1.2? Maybe there's still some config for mainboard attached hotend lurking someplace?
It could be if I wired stuff wrong but I kinda doubt it
The heater itself is tied to the little green area which I was told I don't need to worry about which wire is here but I'm otherwise nothing is different (also this is a pic from right before I put the heatsink on)
klippy log?
according to the klippy log, your heater pin is still pointing at something on the mainboard
```
Context why I asked
Cause I missed it there
I just don't have an EBB pinout in front of me right now, so I couldn't quickly tell whether that was an "I left the EBBCan bit off" vs a "I left an entire old setting in someplace", if that makes sense
It heats up, just insanely fast now
New issue is that fans don't start up at all
that's not good... heatbreak fan? or part fan. (or both)
Both
Delta 2510 fan and berserker 4010 fans
delta 2510? in 24V?
I just check to be sure and they are wired correctly
(I feel like most of the deltas I've seen in that form factor are 5v)
I was told I'd be ok to use the regular fan header since v1.2 doesn't have a 3 wire fan port
the number of wires isn't the question I'm asking though
can you show me the face plate of that fan?
It's 5v yeah
at least fans are a pretty low cost item
doesn't really explain why the Berserkers aren't running though. I assume they're 24V, right?
They are
@prime shoal ok so I wanna ask for when I do fix it, should I use the RGB port on the board?
Cause that's like, the only 5v area
Can you not just get a 24v fan?
You probably could make the rgb header work, in a 3 wire config I'll have to take a look at that later. Might need an extra diode or something
