#BTT SFS 2.0 Feeding inconsistent

I got a used V.02 and I’m slowly but surely massaging out all my hiccups. I ended removing this sensor because it seems to be really difficult to feed filament through consistently. looking at the docs, they send it out with 2mm id and 4mm od. That’s what you see here in my vid testing a small piece of filament. I also noticed one of the silicon bushings is missing on the pneumatic coupler. Before I order a replacement, I wanted to know if anybody had suggestions. Right now I’m cutting my filament at a 90 with a cutting device I printed. I have tried chamfering the tubing with mixed results. Nothing consistent

The old trick i use is, cut the filament with a sprue cutter on a 45* angle, and the 45 is oriented from the inside of the curve. This causes whatever mechanical system you insert into to "think" the first 1mm of filament is actually straight. This is especially useful later into a spool of filament.

Cutting filament on a 90 is inherently the hardest way to get filament to feed.

This trick makes manual filament swaps while printing significantly less frustrating, but still tedious.

Other than that, if you've ever seen a wire unbending machine, i'll stroke the filament between my thumb, pointer and middle finger in a similar motion about 5 times. Good for extremely curly filament.
