that would just be this correct?
curl -s -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Cartographer3D/cartographer3d-plugin/refs/heads/main/scripts/install.sh | bash -s -- --klipper ~/klipper --klippy-env ~/klippy-env
would i have to reflash my toolhead board as well?
Well....careful now
If you do THAT, that's going to pull a new version of the software, and you're probably going to end up here:
I was thinking more of just running whatever install script you already have locally in your cartographer directory
AHH okay, so i should back track my update anyways? or reinstall an older carto software?
Though if you've been updating things, it's also possible you're already there...
ahh.. okay... my bad ๐
ill install an older version of carto and go from there?
How is the new software, is it worth the effort? Should we be leaning on people to transition over, or does it not matter much yet?
I would say it's worth it, a few new things still to come I think, but touch axis twist comp works.
That's a nice touch for those that need it
that did work! installing the old carto! thanks!
but now it cant find the EBBCan.. so im assuming ill have to reflash the tool head board as well?
"Couldn't find" shouldn't be a need to update firmware though
If the firmware on the ebbcan is old, and it doesn't like it, it tells you that specifically
hmmm interesting..
currently i think it is the EBB can, im not sure why. trying to reflash the toolhead board i cant seem to get it to find the UUID...
error is
unknown pin chip name :EBBCan
im running a RP2040
or is it not seeing the EBB because of the mainboard?
Unknown pin chip name would be an error in the actual configuration files
