Question about the gamma parameter in shake&tune

Hi,

I don't know which pictures to post,but I have a question.

Build is V 2.4 with SB2209, cartographer, manta board etc.

Both diagrams are from different adxl modules. One (21:19) is from ADXL from SB2209, and the other (22:03) is from Cartographer adxl module. Both are ADXL345.

I mainly ask about this gamma parameter and how to adjust it? Secondly which module should be more accurate (Carto is closer to nozzle, SB2209 is closer to rail)?

first of all u have sweeping enabled. we do not want that.

see top middle of your pictures "mode: sweeping"

we want "mode: pulse"

Multiple spikes are labeled with alpha, beta, etc.

Toolhead board is better for general troubleshooting

why there is more than 2 parameters (alpha and beta) which are in most videos and pictures?

U cant just adjust one spike

Because thats how the ADXL measured it 🙂

Sometimes its just 2, sometimes 4

Nothing bad

U also have to be very careful

This graph only shows relative tension

And NOT absolute tension

And which adxl is better for belt tension and which for vibrations? I would assume SB2209 for belts and Carto for vibrations?

Before we close this, to set absolute tension its the best and smartest to use the pf tension tool. U can buy a hardware kit from #replimat-🇩🇪-🇪🇺 . This is the only valid tool to use

I understand the labels alpha gamma etc are used instead of 1 2 3 for the peaks

In your current setup the screw can fall out. I think u can Imagine thats not good and can cause damage to your printer

If the screw head is on top, like in the cad, its impossible for it to fall
