#Pi shuts down during COMPARE_BELTS_RESPONSES (ShakeTune)

Hi everyone, I’m running into a strange issue with ShakeTune and I’d appreciate any help.

Setup:

Printer: Voron Switchwire

Controller: Raspberry Pi 3B+

Accelerometer: ADXL345

Firmware: Klipper (up to date)

ShakeTune: Installed about a month ago (via Mainsail Update Manager)

Issue:

AXES_SHAPER_CALIBRATION works fine.

COMPARE_BELTS_RESPONSES runs normally on belt A.

But when belt B test starts, the Raspberry Pi suddenly shuts down (power off, not just a Klipper error).

This didn’t happen a few months ago — everything worked fine before I updated ShakeTune via Mainsail. I suspect the update pulled a newer version that’s no longer fully compatible with Klipper mainline.

What I’ve tried:

Confirmed that power supply to Pi is stable.

No overheating or loose connections.

I haven’t rolled back ShakeTune yet — wanted to ask here first in case others have seen this.

Has anyone else experienced this, or knows which ShakeTune commit is known to work with latest Klipper? Would rolling back be the best option for now?

Newest klipper version is currently not usable with shaketune

Rollback a few versions and it will work again

Dont update unless u are missing a feature the update will bring

Problem solved!
I rolled back Klipper to an earlier version (v0.13.0-192-g3ef760c18), and now COMPARE_BELTS_RESPONSES works fine.
Thanks for all the support!

Thanks for the info! I’ve rolled back a few versions and now everything works fine again. I’ll hold off on updating Klipper until ShakeTune gets updated. Appreciate the heads-up! 🙌

Did I rollback too far from version v0.13.0-335-gb85b92fdf-dirty to v0.13.0-192-g3ef760c18? Is that a problem?"
"I am just following the Klipper version for MCU and Raspberry Pi MCU
