I'm bored so I'ma rebuild my V0. It hasn't been functioning for some time so I thought this would be a proper way to get it going

Current Plans as of 05/09/2026:
Custom CNC tool head with CPAP
Tulip AWD or full metal Gantry
Kirigami bed, switching to tri zero when I can

Want this thing to be a pretty solid platform for bleeding edge tool head work

To start i gotta disassemble the entire thing 😀

Simultaneously I will be recording how much anime I get through during this build.

Night one progress: took apart panels and the top hat also got one motor down. Tmr I'ma try to get other motor and as much of the frame as possible

Absolutely no idea at the moment. For sure Tri-Zero or something adjacent and I wanna try a different motion system but no real ideas yet

Substantially more than I thought, all done with as much tear down as needed. Plans for the next few days are:
Do inventory of all parts, look into what mods I wanna do, order new parts, start printing parts. Think I'm going to do black as the primary color with neon yellow accents.

Oh I also got through half of To be hero X. Enjoying it a ton, very good art style

Anime: finished TBHX and it was gas af, started fragrant flower blooms with dignity. So far wonderful, also started summer Hikaru died and it's alright

Ngl I only got like another 20k max accel over 2wd nema17 (80k to 100k reliably) but idc cuz it was for the love of the game lol. Changing from 2wd is real easy though, only gotta swap AB mounts and all! I had to do a bit more because I also had to switch from an umbilical board to a USB Toolhead board

All the other parts of the gantry are the same though!

Also driftrotor is working on a much better AWD tulip, this was my personal janky design, so you’ll probably have an even better time

For some reason they didn't fit, but I saw that you had a slot for the head of the screw. It's for your stealth skirts revision

ah, i just modded the design to bring it forwards
so didnt touch the fixing methos for that one
Maverik was the original creator of them
give me a sec and ill check for screw length

is this for the normal stealth skirts or the extended ones?

the screw length would have to be commicly long to reach
but from the looks of them they use a smaller sccrew that located into the slot from the rear

M3x10 or M3x12 should be enough for these

There is plenty for Fusion360 on youtube tbh, most is broken down into easy chunks and some do objective / process orientated vids that can be quite good.

im still running basic umbilical - since i made my own cable up its been so reliable ive just not needed to upgrade
but i have heard good things about the NH36 and the EBB36
im sure im missing a couple more, but i believe that most comes down to persoanl prefernce and how you want it setup - can bus / USB

1 x E
You could use a toolhead board for Z , but tuen you've spent enough to get a board with 5 drivers on by then anyway🫠
