Hi All,
I have had my V2.4 for years. I have never had any problems with it until now.
I decided to upgrade it to use Tap (Chaoticlab). Which meant that I upgraded my X-Axis rail to the MGN12.
At the same I was getting the belt rubbing issue so upgraded the XY idlers so the tension was applied inline with the belts.
Ever since this upgrade, I cannot seem to get my cylinders round.
I have attached some photos of the problem. I have completely run out of ideas and am pulling my hair out :).
Setup:
Voron 2.4 Formbot Kit (originally)
Size: 300mm
Exturder: StealthBurner with CWM2
Probe: Tap
Board: Octopus
Motors: Moons
Belts: Gates
Drivers: TMC2209
Klipper: 0.13.0-181
Slicer: Orca
Acceleration: 4000m/s max while printing, 7000 for travel.
Things I have checked:
- Racking, I have de-racked so many times.
- Squared Gantry, measured as in picture. I also measured the distance between the Y-Axis frame, at the back and front, same measurement.
- Print Settings, no-effect. PA and IS both off and on, all configurations. Same issue.
- Belt Tension, I have cut to same length, tensioned both belts one turn at a time. The issue does seem to get better with tighter belts but even at super tight belts it still happens.
- Pulleys, grub screws tight, and were assembled with blue loctite.
- Bed is level
- Speed of print, fast slow same issue.
I have been thinking this is a mechanical issue, however for the life of me I can't isolate the issue down to any specific thing.
Any help would be absolutely appreciated. I think I am losing my mind.
