I'm looking to use an umbilical setup on my build, and I'm having a hard time finding good recommendations around how best to do so. Is anyone aware of a guide that they'd recommend? I have a nitehawk 36 pcb on an A4T toolhead that I intend to use with USB. I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy and print.

This seemed like a straightforward approach: https://www.printables.com/model/384279-voron-24-canbus-umbilical-mod

so it's 2.4mm weed whacker line that keeps the wires up in the air?

Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Replace the backpack filter with a simple plate with cable hole for the toolhead. There are many variations of this thing on printable. Just choose the one you like the most.

Cable from the back will give you better input shaper result. And also will prepare your machine for toolhead changer.

Thanks for the reply. Do you recommend keeping the ptfe and toolhead cable together?

And this feels like a silly question, but it sounds like the exhaust fan is not really needed?

The current solutions are Nevermore V6 micro and THE FILTER.

Both of them are mount internally under the bed.

Not only the air will keep circulating into the filter many time with this setup, the wires routing also much simpler, and it also help make the chamber temperature heat faster.

Personally, I used THE FILTER alongside ellis’s bedfan.cfg

I guess there are still uses for the exhaust fan, like if you want to keep chamber temps low but still have the doors closed, and maybe filter it for microplastic particles or something. But for filtering various vapours, it's pretty much obsoleted by in-chamber filters.
