would like to get your insight again to improve
graphs are coming

this is my AB stepper setup are there also any improvements here, that since i have changed to 2504 motors
What is your belt tension at?
Are you using night hawk for the measurement?
Ye I know, it’s just that the cnc double shears are coming next couple of days and forgot to remove the bearing
2
Yes
I think you might have a potential bearing issue.
can you remove the bearing hanging out on top of the flag pole and see if it helps
It’s an emotional support bearing! Fake it till you make it
Ye motor was feeling sad so it needed a buddy
okay little updates, i have gotten back from vacation yesterday and removed the motor and got the support bearing
now im gonna install the motor again and hope it improved
i also replaced the toolhead to a jabberwocky
so first time with the new toolhead
those long bois
Yup
how are things going? are the new motors installed? 🙂
do u need further help from us?
how do u wish to proceed with your post?
Its been another 8 days, any update for us? 🙂
hey sorry i was away for a while, but im back now
things that have been updated:
E bay, i got a 24v UHP PSU and some power connector terminal thingies to up my wiring
got some vitalli double shear mounts with rain&dew bearings in them
installed a nevermore stealthmax v2
now tighting belts and running IS
did you replace the bearings on your xy joint?
nope, only added the double shear ones
did order 18 extra f695 2rs bearings from rain &dew
I got a 48v uhp power supply, installing it tomorrow
Can you remind me what your tension is please?
let me check in 5 min
running some test rn, the toolhead board was loose
like it was only mounted with one screw
little better
You got about 4k more accel in ei
running Y now
y looks weird
Can you check your frame screws?
also can you put printer on the floor please and rerun y input shaper
and you are using the toolhead board adxl?
i have the printer on a moving table, i had the wheel unlocked.... locked them now and rerunning
its now like this
double check your frame screws, and put the printer on the floor and retest
like the extrusion screws?
not the gantry ones right?
yes the extrusion frame screws
i didnt find any loose screws
Can you put the printer on the floor and rerun input shaper please
can you take a picture of the front of your printer showing the entire umbilcial path please
I think you have to either increase belt tension or up the accel/hz
Can you get rid of the loop on the toolhead?
what toolhead are you using?>
Yes
I’m using the nighthawk 36
What toolhead though are you using?
Oh my bad read it wrong, using a jabberwocky
Just thought of it but the extruder is empty. Don’t have any filament in it, gonna run some abs in it now
@lament marten that should also help right
It might we will see
doesnt look that much better
I am lost. I think one thing you can do is loosen the belts and start over.
Alright, will use new belts then, have a couple of new meters laying around
havent changed belts but this is it before changing
@lament marten this just looks worse
accidently reran
Have you printed a voron cube to see where we are at?
If not set both to ei and try printing a cube using 4k as ext perimeter accel
yup, fresh cube with fresh input shaper config values sounds good
heating chamber now for a cube
ran these rn
i saw that one of the z joints was loose
looks good
I seem to have found the issue
I cannot determine from the video. What do you think the issue is
the belt path is wrong
that will do it
Its been 7 days. Where are we at here? Whats the current state?
Further help from us needed?
