#is thread locker necessary for frame building

is it necessary? no, is it recommended? yes
You can get away just fine without it. However, adding thread locker gives you much wider margins for what is "tight enough" and screws are much less likely to come apart. And given how much of a pain it is to get access to tighten some of them (like a stepper pulley grub screw), it is a pretty good idea to do it from the start.
Whoops. Guess I need to go back and put thread locked on All those screws
If you haven't gone too far and it's still reasonably easy to apply, it's probably worth it. At least the grub screws on all the stepper motor pulleys are classic cases of things coming loose and causing weird issues. But I probably wouldn't tear the frame apart for it.
Oh. Well it said you use thread locker in the manual on the pulleys on the step motors so I got that covered. But I didn’t use thread locker on anything else
its been 25 days, how are things going? any update for us? 🙂
