#CPAP fan config help
101 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Without a Klipp.log, multiple pictures of your wiring (at least 4 pictures), and a link to the cpap fan where u bought it, no one can really help
All we can do is play the guessing game
And guessing is based on luck
word give me a sec
The more u provide
The more u go in detail
The better out help will and can be
Makes sense, doesn’t it?
first of all its a biqu universal cpap
[fan]
pin: PA8
max_power: 0.8
shutdown_speed: 0
cycle_time: 0.005
hardware_pwm: False
kick_start_time: 0.100
off_below: 0.1
here are the config settings\
Check what i wrote here #1378692889713840198 message
those are the bare MINIMUM of things we need.
Think about a few minutes what could be useful for someone who has no clue about your setup or printer at all
You still want a picture of the wiring it’s messy but I can explain it to you
I’m using a octopus v1 controller board
Hooked up to the PA8 fan pin
Product Description: The BIQU Universal Turbo Kit consists of high-quality, high-performance components supplied by Wonsmart Motor (a supplier of medical equipment), along with our self-developed controller adapter board and custom cables, to make your CPAP blower installation experience as easy as connecting a regular
the wiring seems perfectly fine, im able to get full control but i think i just botched the config
and Im really sorry but I'm just not sure what klipp.log is, but if you told me i could prob get it for you @serene ivy
let me know if you need anything else and thank you for responding so soon
Cmon man
Didnt i say at least 4 pictures?
And it would be great if u could use MS paint or whatever to highlight where CPAP is connected
Under the machine tab
Rollover the klippy log first
And before uploading pictures (plural) please review them first to verify good camera focus as well as lighting
my fault, just needed a lil sleep is all give me a sec to get the pics and the klippy ready
All good, we are not in a rush here
Klippy log please as well
I posted and explained it above
Rollover clears them and lets klippy create a fresh one
So its not insane in size
i did the rollover what now
https://github.com/bigtreetech/Universal-Turbo-Kit
just to confirm, u followed the manual as well as Firmware which is provided there?
Download and upload it here 😅
the printer config?
The klippy log
where can i download the file
There is a big download button below the rollover
Its all in my screenshot
It literally says „log file“ at the top
what folder does that download to
I have no clue about your pc
what would the file be called ill just do a search for it
Thank you
no problem
Before i have a look at it, could u please answer my question above?
Sorry no, this #1378692889713840198 message
yeah I used that firmware
Why are u using dupont on a jst header?
And the jst i circled in red is not properly crimped
my bad
my more recent project has better crimps I swear
i bought an engineer crimper
bltouch? Which VORON is this?
im using a vz toolhead and this isn't my voron, but the people in this discord are very active this is my mercury one
Meeeh, that’s something u always have to tell people here upfront
Its the VORON discord, people expect a VORON
my fault, Ill do better next time i need help
The mercury discord also exists, are u aware of that?
Im sure they have a help thread as well
yeah but its not nearly as active
I'd be very grateful if you did help, plus itd help when i install another one of these cpap fans to my v2
so its like your helping me with a voron indirectly
why is on FAN0 only GND connected and not V+ aswell?
the upper part doesnt matter for us as a fan port cant provide enough amps for the CPAP, so it must be hooked up to the PSU, as shown in the manual.
so the lower port gets connected to a free fan port
because its connected to power out of the power supply and it only needs that pin for communication with the board
im pretty sure it also needs Voltage for the onboard logic to work
u can propably fix it by inverting the pin but thats not the right solution here
yeah i don't have that board with the wago clips
i know i have all the other parts
then i cant 100% help here , sorry.
i only know how it works with the pcb shown above. there are more components on that PCB than just the WAGOs
i mean it powers up and can be throttled just fine
as i said, u can try flipping the logic via inverting the pin, but thats not the correct solution imo
