You replaced your canbus interface? Or you replaced your toolhead board

#

I'd check if the dip switches on the toolhead board are set correctly

So if the dips are right, I don't have much choice but to believe the error: aka, id think there's a bad connection on the pt1000 wiring

Does anyone have suggestions or have dealt with this? I hope the board itself isn't bad. This will my 3rd board that has arrived with an issue.

Did you meter it?

#

Did you make sure the connections are good ?

#

It's plugged in correctly , and believe the connection is good.

#

How do I meter it?

warped maple
#

Expected reading is slightly below 1000 ohm

#

Is it only a pt1000 issue?

(At room temperature)

I've also got a new sensor and it's shows the same error.

#

Is the board itself bad?

warped maple
#

No, your wiring is bad

#

(Probably)

#

Can you take a picture?

#

Now yes, that's a little cynical of me

#

But until I see that photo, and you get some meter readings, it's pretty much going to be my assumption

#

Am I checking the resistance for the pt1000 or the 2 pins in the board?

I would just pull the thermisor values directly from the thermistor pinout on your MCB and not use the MAX sensor, from my knowledge it's only good for high temp printing so like 400+ i think

#

that's what I did for my rapido setup with ebb36 with the MAX sensor

By changing it you are just avoiding the problem

#

No reason to just lose a entire port if you don't have to :p

That's a 104nt thermistor

#

And I think you need to check your units, it's probably reading 136 K 😛
