#Klipperscreen stuck?

Hello...,

I hope Im right here.... . I updated Klipper, Klipperscreen, mainsail and so on. Now...., I have the feeling that the screen doesnt boot, blinks and got stuck.... (see picture).
I have tryed multiple time to reinstall klipperscreen via github and KIAUH but nothing happens.... always the same 😭 .

Have you gone through the troubleshooting on the klipperscreen site?

Okay, well, post your klipperscreen.log then

If the screen is doing the weird little blink, that normally means KS is at least trying to start

#

Which in turn means there should be fresh logs

#

So I guess your first task is to find it

systemctl status KlipperScreen might offer some insight

Or journalctl -u KlipperScreen

and what's more is that there are more versions of Python on it.... .

Downloading and installing random versions of python, has never really been a good path, imo. If the os is so old, it doesn't offer a supported version of python, it's time for an os upgrade

Pretty sure that "can't import libffi.so.7" is your problem

Try maybe sudo apt install libffi7 ?

I'm not near a machine to actually confirm that package name

Just googling, looks like libffi7 is...really old... I feel like this is more "you need to update your OS" stuff

But try just installing the package first

Re-image, and be fully operational in, I dunno, probably an hour or two, tops
