Here’s my most recent project - a complete rebuild of my Magic Phoenix 300mm^3 Trident that I’ve had for about a year now. Here are some of the planned specs:

300mm^3 Trident with printed Monolith gantry
AWD configuration with 6mm belts
4040 and 2040 strengthened frame
THK linear guides
Dual pane custom door
Dual pane viewing windows on the side
PIR and neoprene foam insulation
4x OMC 2504 S55 steppers for X and Y
Manta M8P v2 with CB2
8x TMC2209 drivers @ 24V
Xol toolhead with WWG2 extruder
Dragon Ace Volcano with tungsten carbide nozzle
Closed loop 6mm GT3 belts for XY
Motion and toolhead parts printed in 3DXTECH EZPCCF
Decorative parts and outer shell printed in ASA-CF

The main purpose of this build is to look cool and stay warm at the same time. I’m not looking for record speeds or accelerations. If I get a little more performance out of it too, that’s just a bonus! https://github.com/Sinakaru1/System-Noir

How to add some form to "I just slap a lot of insulation on it" 😄

It's barely been running a month, and it's already time to upgrade! Just finished reprinting all of the parts in PPS-CF, 9mm belts this time mild_panic

Had to add some aluminum supports that I could bolt the inner ABS panel to... It was getting hot enough in the printer that the top panel was bending down and encroaching on the toolhead 😅
