I did this, no errors fans still dont come on. didnt know if the "can0" the issue?
do the fans work when put into [fan] individually?
no, just tried can0:PA0 and can0:PA1 seperately neither coming on
brand new fans as well 12v
then it seems to me, your problem is something more fundamental 😛
check the polarity on the fans?
ill unlpug them and check polarity, but theyu should spin backwards
of course not
these fans have electronics
they're not just a bare DC motor
you wire them backwards, they either explode, (if they don't have protection diodes) or do absolutely nothing (if they do have diodes)
but I didn't say swap it, I said check
aka, look that the red wire is on the + side of the port, and black on -
polarity is correct
what can board is this?
bigtree ebb36
you're running an ebb36 at 12v?
24v
but...you said they're 12v fans
and there's no voltage selection for fans on the ebb
PA0, and PA1 can be 12 or 24v
really?
my trident is that way, 12v on a 24v psu
how?
sorry my trident was different.. research time
like, absolutely do reseach and prove me wrong. but I don't think there's any 12V available on the ebb36
(unless the whole board is running at 12v, of course)
my trident is 12v... dumbass me.. my 2.4 is 24v
thanks for your help.. time to find 24v fans
Correct. Only possible with a step down like K78L12-500R3
