1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i installed the 32bit OS when flashing the SD card
just installed the OS on thursday
@warm cobalt helped me get it installed, but i am not getting any of the macros to show up
I helped him get S&T installed
Just nuked ~/.cache/pip and reattempted
i would not have started with mainsailos on a new build 😂
standard PI OS the better choice?
i have no problem reimaging the pi
it's just getting a little outdated
older kernel/distribution base
i build new printers using bookworm lite 64bit now and install stuff with kiauh
only gripe is how the rotation of hte lcd works now
https://gist.github.com/thunderkeys/6c9adfdd4720bb2f54c18734180f6c9e
it's more complicated than before
@quartz sphinx any idea of this error. Taking a smoke break from dinner
I am partial to agree with you. Mainsail os needs to be updated
So i got past the red error shown above, however now after the install and adding [shaketune] in my printer.cfg I'm not showing any macros. Nor am I showing any of the shaketune folders
can you do a ACCELEROMETER_QUERY?
Let me check
Yup. I get values back
Can you reboot the printer.
Also the macros may not automatically show up if you have grouped them
so i have rebooted the printer. im not 100% sure what you mean by grouped them. but i dont think i changed anything. also i dont even see the folders in the machine section.,
@restive sage can you show me what the dashboard says (a picture of the dashboard) please
Hello, this is usually a network problem on the Pi. The python package manager only partially downloaded packages (that were corrupted or broken). Let me find the correct command to clear its cache in order to try again the installation properly
So yes, just do in an SSH terminal:
source ~/klippy-env/bin/activate
python -m pip cache purge
deactivate
Then if possible plug an Ethernet wire to get stable internet connection and try again the installation
Thanks!
@quartz sphinx@echo estuary so strange, i woke up tthis morning and everything is there lol
Ya I was gonna say network issue and the verification hashes failed to magch
@quartz sphinx @worldly pewter thank you
