I have a LDO 2.4 rev.D kit. I have been following their software setup guide at https://docs.ldomotors.com/en/voron/voron2/wiring_guide_rev_d. upon getting to the "mainboard firmware setup" and "determining the USB ID of your mainboard and toolboards" section, im inputting "ls dev/serial/by-id" and only the Nitehawk toolboard comes up, not the Leviathan mainboard. I've double checked the leviathan is connected to the RPi and even disconnected the toolboard to make sure the mainboard is the only thing connected. Is there something I'm missing here? Forgive me, but I'm really dumb on the software side of things.

sorry, i assumed the board was already set up with the below statement. do i just need to jump to the part about updating klipper firmware?

Its also often a power only usb cable

#

So double and tripe check that your usb cable can indeed transfer data

Yup not working. I would go through the guide and flash it again. Its also good to have everything on the same klipper version

U just need the website i posted above from LDO

With cube programmer A LOT can go wrong

#

oh, gotcha. ok, thank you.

is it possible the host configuration is already done? I try the CAN routing and it doesn't seem to work. I try the UART routing and it takes me to a new screen with nothing to delete like the guide says.

sorry, wasn't sure if i should go to that or if it should've been in there regardless.

ok, im at the klipper firmware testing section - validate the interface. for UART, im entering the command
~/katapult-env/bin/python3 ./klippy/console.py /dev/ttyAMA0

and get something similar to the screenshot on the leviathan guide. the last step says to copy /dev/ttyAMA0. am i copying something in this screenshot or am i literally copying that exact text? where am i putting this text if so?

rugged wadi
# next hatch literally /dev/tty...

ok, well i know that the leviathan is set up correctly now. Im assuming the next step is to get the USB IDs of the mainboard and toolboard? I STILL cannot get one for the leviathan, only the nitehawk toolhead. What am I doing wrong?
