Thanks!
please read the posting guidelines again and provide whats required ๐ take your time and double check u have everything
Voron v0.2r1
Mods are canbus ebb36 and bentomini.
Running suggested shapers some resonance only on one side of the cube
my vibrations graph isnt looking to great with my peaks being right in ideal printing speeds
After you fix homing speed in tmc_autotune I would rerun vibrations just to see where it is at
would changing my shaper to ei change any of these results are does this look decent ?
are you using 2209's
what is your inter and ext perimeter speeds
I would either go up or down. You want to stay in the low part of the green zones
I'll bump them up and re test
have printed at a wall speed of 128 and 96 and the ripples still apear on only one side of the cube
can you post all four sides of the cube please
what accel and speed are your using for perimeters
Also did you increase your run current for x and y motors
accel and speeds please
can you also post your 3mf for the voron cube please. And, please tell me what slicer you are using
can you post what you are using for input shaper please
I think I see the issue
in filament uncheck "slow printing down for better layer cooling"
that autocooling feature is slowing your perimters down to 105 ish mm/s
[input_shaper]
shaper_freq_x: 92.6 # center frequency for the X axis filter
shaper_type_x: mzv # filter type for the X axis
shaper_freq_y: 66.6 # center frequency for the Y axis filter
shaper_type_y: mzv # filter type for the Y axis
damping_ratio_x: 0.051 # damping ratio for the X axis
damping_ratio_y: 0.053
okay will do
also set ext perimter speed to 90
okay
in input shaper set y to EI
change it's freq accordingly
then repring a cube: 3 perimters/bottom, 0 infill/top
made it much better but still there
possibly vfa ?
only on that side of the print. all else is perfect
can you post pictures please
This is looking like a motion thing. Because every other side looks good. @lilac sand what are your thoughts
How is the nozzle of the machine? Because, this can also be a wear/damaged nozzle for example
New revo 0.4
Do you have another one to test to be sure?
I do I can swap it
Ok super. It might be something else, but at least this way we can validate it and remove the nozzle from the equation
i will swap nozzle and print another test
@lilac sand This is odd that it is only showing on one side of y
Been scratching my head over that as well. As newb as I am with core xy. Still seems odd.
can you reprint the cube at the front of the build plate, rather than in the middle
wondering if it is a motion system issue
Yes it's partly why I thought it could be a nozzle issue. On my machine I already saw stringing appearing on only one side of prints due to this (nozzle was damaged due to a steel brush).
But moving the print to another location is a good idea
whats a good run current setting for x and y ?
rule of thumb is that u want the lowest possible run current without losing steps.
the default in the github config is a good starting value.
also just noticed u did not yet click on your flag in #rules . Make sure to do that if u find the time ๐
It's a stump forsure.
im getting alot smoother motor graphs when i bump my amperge up to 0.8 on x and y
can v0 motor mounts handle this current ? makes my low end speeds alot smoother in peaks
0.8 is the default as i mentioned before, isnt it?
i think ldo was 0.5 which im running
but i did a vibration test at 0.8 and it smooths out the lower speeds for me vibration wise
ah okay the default VORON 0.2 config lets u calculate the current. thats actually smart
0.8 should be fine but best would be to check with the datasheet
ldo says 1.5
thats max
yeah just dont wanna melt anything
as long as u dont have cheap esun ABS+ its totally fine
yes
didnt think btt made an ez varient of them
nope they dont
what board are you using ?
SKR 3 EZ
ah skr ez alows both
