Question: help eliminating double hump on X
Run input shaper with ebb36
I’ll give this a go tomorrow
@nocturne stone
I am thinking there is a loose screw in the toolhead/x-axis
The reason I think this is because of the double peak on the main peak in x-axis
Also peak 2 in x-axis could be due to said loose screw if said loose screw was near the carriage.
i will go through and take a look. Thanks! these were before i installed the CNC XY joints.
I was going to say peak2 could also be due to mechanical parts
Cnc parts do no damping the freq like plastic parts
What is your belt tension at?
just over 2 on a PF makes tool
Try backing it down to 1.8.
Let’s see if the looser belts will absorb the vibrations
oops forgot to load filament on the last test. here is with filament loaded and i touched a few screws but nothing was really loose
@nocturne stone this off my beacon.
@nocturne stone
I am thinking it is more the screws you tightened than filament
anything else worth trying or good enough?
Y is your limiting factor you could set x at 3 hump and still be alright
I think this is good enough.
Just note to yourself the screws you adjusted/touched in case you need to say hi to them again
kinda my thought as well. Thank you for the help
