Yeah, I’m gonna have to agree. Cool (well…hot) project, but runs afoul of the current no heated chamber rules. That style of PTC where the fins often get mains power running through them is just too sketchy for us to police, and not everyone can keep things done safely.
My apologies if this is not acceptable. I have updated the post to reflect the emphasis is on keeping the filament dry. However, if this is against the rules I will delete the post.
That would be great. You’re obviously welcome to post it up anywhere that’s not managed/moderated by the Voron team, but we’ve established a very definite stance on active heating inside the chambers, regardless of the reason. It’s a smart solution though, in my personal opinion.
