Katapult Update Voron 2.4
It seems that I have installed successfully MCU
But Printer doesn't start at all
following the esoterical canbus guide?
yes
File downloaded successfully means that it is working like it's supposed to be, ignore the errors after that
which step are you on?
The next one
I get the Id
and after that this one => https://canbus.esoterical.online/mainboard_flashing.html#installing-usb-can-bridge-klipper
And now I am here
??
I also have U2C installed.
so you are using usb to can bridge?
Choose one: usb to can bridge or u2c
but... you cant use DFU util with a rp2040 based can board
im fairly certain that you just flashed your mainboard with usb to can bridge
So that's wrong then. Which step should I follow for U2C
A guide for setting up CANBus hardware on 3D printers
I have this one
you aren't supposed to be following the mainboard flashing with u2c
That understand it right now. So, I should skip this step
like that?
and then do this https://canbus.esoterical.online/toolhead_flashing.html
which mobo?
STM32F446
which octopus?
yes
but I recommend flashing your octopus with the correct settings first
BIGTREETECH Octopus V1.1
those are the settings for usb to can bridge, which you will not be using since you have a u2c. Use this instead
To use this config, the firmware should be compiled for the STM32F446 with a "32KiB bootloader"
Enable "extra low-level configuration options" and select the "12MHz crystal" as clock reference
I have already selected that
what about those ?
hold on, the BTT config is incomplete. Lemme get the actual one.
That's the correct ones?
yup correct, was just boutta send that
after make?
if you bought the u2c recently, they already come preflashed (like mine did)
flash it
ython3 ~/katapult/scripts/flashtool.py -f ~/klipper/out/klipper.bin -d /dev/serial/by-id/usb-katapult_your_board_id
not sure about the octopus but generally there is a micro sd port
using the above?
ok
I flashed it. Shoud I see now the MCU into The System Loads?
I just followed and this one https://canbus.esoterical.online/toolhead_flashing.html#rp2040-based-boards
did you add the new mcu serial in the printer.cfg?
This one?
yes
it might have changed. also, run lsusb
and ls /dev/serial/by-id/
