#I'm looking to build a large printer

4' cube is better known "bloody gigantic". The only Voron thing that even comes close is the Phoenix, and it's still not out (much less having kits available)
what would you suggest then I would rather support open source and repairable solutions
This is the closest thing I've seen to 48x48x48, and even then it comes pretty shy of that
that is a massive print volume

Seemecnc had a 13' delta printer that ate a shopvac full of plastic pellets, but that was a one off I think.
OrangeStorm Giga Free your mind, dare to think big. Giga 800mm x 800mm x 1000mm Multi-Nozzle Printing High-Quality Craftsmanship Up to 300mm/s Klipper Firmware Efficient Heated Bed Portable 7-inch
Ive heard, though have no personal experience, that rat rig scales up slightly better. I'm not sure they can go that large though....
You're honestly pretty far outside the box at those sizes, unfortunately.
well I'm up for a challenge how could we scale up the Voron 2.4 or the Phoenix
Packing Detail: 1 pc MGN linear rail. 1 pc of MGN..H or MGN..C linear block. Our linear motion guides are made of high-quality materials for high precision and load-carrying capacity. long lasting. Smooth operation, dustproof, low noise, no pollution. Widely used in DIY CNC routers, lathes, machi...
has anyone used those or where I could buy longer linear rail
You can spec whatever rail length you want from "real" vendors. Building something this big, I'd say it's worth spending the money on real, not Amazon. So whoever your local hiwin distributor is would be your starting point in my view
(And I'm pretty dismissive of people demanding hiwin or better in most 3d printing stuff, but going that huge changes the game)
i'm in Phoenix AZ USA I'll google if you don't have a suggestion
