#rattling in hot end, consistently inconsistent extrusions

Those clicking sounds?
Yes
They are clinking sounds, at the same points aswell
i'l go though and check if everything is still tight...... extrusion motor still tight.... gears, etc....
to me it sounds like the hotend might not be able to keep up with the extruder..... try to slow the feed rate to see if anything changes.... there is a possibilty that your hotend/nozzle could have some clogs.... maybe try some cold pulls to see what you get out
what type of hotend you got?
The dragon high flow, I'll try that out tonight! That's for the help in the right direction
Dragon HF should deal with most extrusion speeds you could throw at it.... My money could be on a partial clog....
Did some cold pulls & changed the nozzle same issue, tried to use to 5mm extrusion rate same ratteling just quiter
take apart the extruder and check the bolts for anything loose.... but you might want to check to see if there is any clog in your hotend heat break
heat up..... turn off cooling to induce heat creep..... manually push an allen key through it to clear any clogs.... then shutdown imediately
Oh and remove nozzle before the heat up
The clicking noise sounds like the extruder camming out like it can't push the filament through...... that's why I think it's a partial clogh
clog
Your motor is probably lose, happened with my v0
so i tore it apart and cleaned out the hotend changed it again, and it still making the ratteling
that answers that
that happened to me as well within a couple days of using the printer... i super glued the shaft to the holder, and it has not come off again yet.
it was printing just poorly, was able to print out a replacement part, now were back in buisness
if it come out again put a little dab of super glue on both ends of the rod, but just on the rod and let it dry before putting it back in.
