klipper config for the board didn't have a bed mesh so put a basic one in and it worked just fine, Wanted to use KAMP went thru the setup and used "a better print start macro" at the same time. Ran the first print and get a bunch of unknown command errors and it bypasses the bed mesh all together. With my limited knowledge of klipper I'm not sure where to look for the problem. It's a freshly built trident with my first taste of klipper.
#adaptive bed mesh not meshing

I would forgo getting the bed mesh working at first. Use the basic printer.cfg file from the voron site. https://docs.vorondesign.com/build/software/configuration.html It should get you started without all the additional options that you can add later
That's what I did to just get started.
Jontek's Better Start Macro is better :), but to understand everything that's going on in there and to use all the features requires some experience with Klipper basics.
Just start at the basics and keep adding little by little would be my recommendation. You can also go to the klipper site to learn what each section is, but you might not understand everything just yet.
Did you build the trident?
that is what I did, got the config from LDO site for the leviathan got that working and was trying to get some of the other things working which puts me here. Yes I built it and thought I would try klipper instead of RRF
So you got the klipper firmware installed on the leviathan MCU
did you use what they had or complied new from klipper?
Yes and not sure what you mean compiled new
I might need to look up the leviathan LDO config
But i did use the config that LDO hadeverything worked right up to the point of trying to get the adaptive bed mesh working
i would just use what they had and not use the better start macro just yet
have you had success with just using a standard bed mesh?
Yes the standard bed mesh worked fine
get the better start macro working first..... I've used some of his stuff in mine, but I'm always a little hesitant changing too much at once....
Do you have an log of the errors?
klipper.log?
klippy.log
sorry... having a conversation with a co-worker while I'm trying to help you....
we're done now
the better print start works as expected, as soon as I include KAMP it now does bed mesh of the whole bed. what am I missing?
I didn't read the full thread but are your exclude objects working correctly?
Yes I tested that and can select and exclude parts from a print.
