#Quad Gantry Level Moving Off Print Bed

Sounds like a mechanical problem
Homing moves relatively slowly: only tries to move at 100mm/s at most
By contrast, your qgl is trying to move at 300mm/s, and, based on your description, the motors are skipping
I was having layer shift issues.
So, I tightened belts to ensure the layer shift issues were not belt tension related.
Well, sounds like you over tightened
I'm genuinely an ape so this is very possible.
Just to check, can we see the back of your a/b drives?
Ya, the correct belt tension is honestly looser than you think
I've got my back panel on:/
Up to you, but it's shockingly common for "it works at low speeds, but not high speeds" to turn out to be the result of belt routing issues at the back
They’re fairly loose now
There's a pretty clever belt tension checking tool
This one?
