Home all functions as intended and returns to 175,175. When issuing QUAD_GANTRY_LEVEL the printhead jumps ~25 mm to the right and then attempts to QGL ~25mm offset resulting in the some of the points being off the right off the bed.

Homing moves relatively slowly: only tries to move at 100mm/s at most

#

By contrast, your qgl is trying to move at 300mm/s, and, based on your description, the motors are skipping

I was having layer shift issues.

So, I tightened belts to ensure the layer shift issues were not belt tension related.

Just to check, can we see the back of your a/b drives?

I can verify here in a little bit.

I loosened and now it QGL’s fine

There's a pretty clever belt tension checking tool

This one?

I prefer this one

Though it does need more specialised parts

A bunch of the common vendors are selling kits for it these days though
