I’ve been told that the pattern method is a lot easier to use, but every time I try to use it I get terrible quality prints? Every single time I print just that, every line is wavy, hopefully you can see it in the picture, and can help me because I just do not know. I’ve tried to change stealthchop to 0 but still have the same problem.

How fast are you printing? What flow rates?
I mean for the PA test. During the test what speed, line width and layer height are you using?
Same speeds and line width, and 0.2 layer height
Could you post the gcode file from that print?
voxelab pla with a dragon hf
I have no idea why the lines are doing that. I don't see any obvious issues. It must be some kind of extrusion issue.
General advice for dragon hf and pla is to make sure the hotend fan is high quality, make sure ambient temps are low. So open doors and panels removed.
I have one last thing to check, can you post your printer.cfg file?
i have seen people say its from clogged nozzles, pushing too fast, or overtightened the hotend
I see what might be causing it. Or at least contributing. You have accel in your config set to 8k, accel control disabled for the PA test and it appears that you don't have input shaper enabled yet. That combination is likely causing massive resonance during 90° print moves.
so... the sb 2209 counts as a input shaper?
Well the sb2209 has an adxl which can be used to measure resonance. But you still need to activate the input shaper config section if you haven't already.
no i havent, how would i be able to do that? is there a video?
Oh there are probably lots out there. I don't know of any myself but maybe ask in one of the help channels. Otherwise here is some info. https://www.klipper3d.org/Measuring_Resonances.html
Got one part done… now I gotta figure out the accel control
how would i enable accel control?
