#octopus V1.1 wiring power. Formbot VS manual
13 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
You just need to link your "power" input to your "motor power". If the kit is not using "bed out" then you do not need a jumper to "bed power". If you are running something from "bed out" then you should add a jumper from "power" or "motor power" to "bed power"
My bed is the AC vivedino 650W, plugged into my SSR. So I’d assume it’s not powered by my Octopus v1.1.
Thanks for the help
Old pic, I’ll send a current one later. Hopefully this clears things up
Sorry about that I mean an octopus pro V1.01 there are jumper pins on top of each driver and extra ones all about the board. ill post a picture
Yes please send a pic, I see fuses by the power inlets but not jumpers
Most current pic:
Bed is connected to “N” and the other 1 on the SSR.
SSR wiring:
1: Bed
2: L
3: DC + -> HE1+
4: DC - -> HE1-
OK, that looks ok, but you will need to move your "bed_power" wires over to "power" so your motors will get voltage. Make it match the manual picture you posted
Ok will do. Thank you so much
If you see anything else that looks wrong or you recommend should be done differently, please let me know. I’m open to all feedback, this is my first build, it’s been a daunting project
I appreciate the help, thanks!
