Interesting idea. Divide daily log entries into "important enough" and "not important enough" categories, maybe configurable in the options somewhere, add all "important enough" entries into a yearly log and, at the end of the year, save that as a text file under "Unit Name Year" (like "Learning Ropes 3030").

Yes, also would be nice to add your own RP text to events, I had an RFE about similar stuff back in the day (https://github.com/MegaMek/mekhq/issues/6547)

We can look into it, but yeah, not sure about this one
Overall, though, I think this is really outside the scope of the 'spit and polish' project. Adding a comment to the RFE attached above is probably the better option.
