SRM version has 2/4/6 at 3 damage, honestly not worth it, but the LRMs I'd say are worth it, higher average damage but shorter range

Wouldn't the variable target range (long) quirk do the same thing as your improved & poor combo?

Not at the same time, the trick with VRT is you have to pick one for each turn so if you pick wrong you can screw yourself

And you can only make that change during the end phase of each turn
