#Cicatapult (cicada + catapult)

My quibble: would not the use of LRM20s suggest it as "Cicarcher?" The Catapult was always more an LRM15 platform, no?
If you did downgrade to 15s, you could stick them in the arms in catapult boxes, maybe use artemis IV (maybe) - or up the engine to 320 XL to match the original Cicada speed.
That said--in all principle I like it: A LOT.
idk, i think of the catapult with lrm-20s, but i can do 15s, save some weight
An LRM boat delivering packages at that speed is highly desirable.
Perhaps I'm extremely old-fashioned, but I think of the original catapult with 2x LRM15, 4x ML
oh, either way, downgrading lrms, but i think i might stick to 7/11 just cause 8/12 is i think an odd one for a 40 tonner, i know im trying to match the build, but at the same time i think sometimes there can be some leniency in the builds. but definitely has more armor than a cicada thats for sure
ok, 2 lrm-15s, four p-m-lasers, that good?
oh and still the micro pulse in the head too
That's plenty to be lethal, while still retaining the cicada's amazing fragility. It will do an excellent job, even if slightly slower, killing <upgraded locust version> with the utility of LRM range.
thats the thing, im not specifically going for mirroring fragility, i gave it 85% armor
approximately at least
Oh you're right, was looking at the internal numbers.
but otherwise, they wont know if its a catapult or a cicada, both speed and its lrm shoulder pods looking like arm pods
all while using its arms like shields
Funny thing, My MLP crossover has something that actually goes with the whole "Catapult-Light" idea. Though what you have would be an interesting, surprisingly durable sidegrade to what I built.
