So if you use IJJ's and a partial wing, you can make a 100 ton mech jump 7
And I'd say drop the heavy duty Gyro, if you want a sturdy Gyro I think you're better off with a compact Gyro that you add armoring to, if memory serves
Not got the space for 6 IJJs, sadly
MML 7s are pretty big
And the Wing makes it harder to trip the TSM
And going for IJJs also really hurts the armour

I've also got a version with an XXL engine if cbills are not an issue lol
if you're determined to have missiles, a clan ATM6 would probably be better than MML 7 for space and tonnage and overall damage
dual ATM6's would save 3 tons and 3 slots total
1 ton/slot from each launcher and 1 ton/slot from only needing 3 bins of ammo instead of 4
oh actually 5 slots and 5 tons
since atm's already include artemis
yea, I like ATM's for the same reason
they lose the 2-point damage clustering of straight SRM's but gain a lot of overall damage and a better min range for the longer range ammo types
but I adore switchable ammo weapons
What about iATMS?
I try to avoid those since they're OP as hell and are supposed to only be available to the Society during the War of Reaving in the Clan Homeworlds and never would have made their way to the IS
they're not techncially extinct though
at least not iatm's with the normal 3 ammo types. The magpulse and inferno iATM ammo are fully extinct after the WoR

We have a proper eyeball laser here, not a Small one
I did, but that's only 12 heat, and IJJ's cut your jump heat in half
This is currently at 32/23, so if I give it the full leap and fire everything I can trigger TSM in 1 turn
that math is incorrect unless I missed something, if you full jump and fire everything that's only 31 heat
28 from weapons, 3 from jump
4, these are normal JJs
might be less from jump, I believe the partial wing ALSO reduces your jump heat in addition to the 3 extra sinking

And with the Compact Gyro (Armoured) I can take a bit more armour! I had the foot actuators armoured before as well, but I much prefer this lineup
ok yea looks like MML is corect, the partial wing does reduce jump heat but only by the amount of extra jump it provides, so in this case 1

Smaller, lighter, no downsides to Piloting rolls
But it's also effectively the same thing, because Armouring a component means it ignores the first crit, right?
So yea Saklad reminded me that while ferro legs will get movement back you still have the +1 PSR from hardened anywhere
But yes armored ignores one crit to that slot
I wonder if I can make Karate Atlas faster.....
