Moorlands Map Pack - Six 16x17 maps of rolling boggy scrubland leading towards a drop to a lake or ocean front. Suitable for mixing in with other maps, but a single 48x34 map is also included. (OK for distribution with MegaMek)
map pack 8 - 64X68 maps (OK for distribution with MegaMek) found a few issues and reuploaded the zip
32x34 Farmland map. Okay for distribution (...\pokefan548\Misc\).
80x85 Map featuring a mini-spaceport and volatile pipeline. Okay for distribution (...\pokefan548\Misc\).
A rural industrial/commerce zone beside a large canyon with a roaring river at the bottom. Okay for distribition (...\pokefan548\Misc\).
NOTE: Please inform me if and when rail terrain is implemented so that I can revise this board accordingly.

Contains a template map of a "Rattler Mk. II" building, along with three gun emplacement files that recreate the weaponry, minus the capital weapons
I found a good scan of the French language Casus Belli magazine referenced in this Sarna article: https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Casus_Belli and recreated the map. Enjoy!
These are the oldest maps in Megamek history I bet
so some of them probably do not work
I have not combed through them to remove the broken ones
actually looking through them, this is my post-cull version
the only problem is you would have some duplicates from the Derv Pack, but these are tournament maps
These are standard 16x17 size maps intended to be used to quickly set up objective areas like bunkers, supply warehouses, small airstrips, etc. Some are totally new, some are just modifications of standard maps like the basic CityTech map. I've provided each map in a grass and desert theme.
these are all fantastic btw. 64x68 are fantastic and I am using snowy ridge for a finale in my upcoming tournament event

realized I hadn't released this yet
this one isn't as large but contains everything I'm likely to do for a while
16x17 desert canyons reminiscent of Utah or northern Arizona. Tiles well vertically with official canyon maps such as Deep Canyon 1 and 2 and Box Canyon. Two versions, one with no access to upper levels and one with goat paths to allow mechs to access upper levels (at least 3 in each quadrant)
Map pack meant for low-altitude aerospace combat. Includes 5 maps.

Green light to have these included in future distros.
Should also pair well with PR #5797 and serve as good testing grounds for future low-alt fixes.

Just something simple: I went through the 16x17 boards, both official and unofficial, and looked for items where "desert" was in the name, but the map theme was showing grass because they were made before the default theme change, or where the desert theme would match the map as physically published better (like Box Canyon and the Deep Canyons) or fit better with others using the same theme (Desert 1, 2 and 3)

Four 16x17 heavy industrial maps
converted a print map that I have into something useable for megamek, its a area of desert cannons with a shallow river and a small fortress of sorts

I'm having a hard time reading that map but it looks fun for infiltration missions
like the level heights aren't showing up in the image

made some small edits like adding the concert in the fortress and added a few additional roads

Forest Battlefield is now available as a full size download! The name says it all. This map provides tons of forested ground for units to cat and mouse their way through. With just enough open space for limited long range fire, this map should make for many, many memorable battles. There's even a

yea I am not as happy with this one as the other, mostly because it feels more plain, think I might start doing some fully custom ones next
well imo we need more maps that feel good zoomed out because then they're great to play high atmosphere aerotech matches on

Yea, I like larger maps that have several main sections to allow for multiple objective points and are useful for gm'd games so if I start doing more they will probably be similar
Is it possible to use these maps in missions generated by contracts?
There's a chance for MekHQ to pull a fixed map anytime it generates a scenario, and you can up that chance in the MekHQ options. Or, you can just choose whatever map you want once you get into the lobby. The generated maps aren't actually generated until the game actually starts so you aren't going to break a scenario or anything like that generally outside of not having buildings for turrets to go on, but that can happen with the generated maps too. So just donwload a pack you like and stick them in your boards folder.

Decided to pack up some of my more higher quality boards from me and my group's campagin that I made for here. Its cleared for distribution if Megamek staff want to add them to megamek.
